Sometimes, shipping costs are included in the price. They ask you to contact them via direct message for details. Once payment is sent—often through cryptocurrency, Apple Pay, or sometimes PayPal—the scammers claim the package has been handed over to a delivery service. Then, this fake delivery service asks for additional fees, such as "insurance." They usually advertise rare and highly desirable parts, which makes the scam harder to spot.
